Finance and Accounting for Non-Finance Managers is a two day “boot camp” training program. It raises the the overall financial IQ of the participant. This is an extremely popular program with over 150 graduates.

Mike Phillips established Weldon Phillips International (WPI) in 2003.  Mike was named the 2013 CFO of the Year by the Cincinnati Business Courier 250 for work performed in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.  Prior to WPI, Mike served as CFO and Vice President of Business Development for Iluka Inc. and CFO Latin America for Global Industrial Technologies.  Mike has served as Project Executive for 5 major ERP implementations.  Mike Phillips has a Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest School of Law, MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a BA in Accounting and Business Administration from Malone College.

Thomas Weldon (Retired) Principal Associate

Tom Weldon was the inspiration behind forming Weldon Phillips International (WPI).  Mr. Weldon’s career and expertise centered on business development.   Prior to WPI, Mr. Weldon’s career included being City Manager of the city of Santa Maria and serving as CEO / President of three California based construction companies.  Despite being retired, Tom still serves as a trusted advisor to WPI.  Tom Weldon lives on the Central Coast of California and is enjoying retirement with his wife and two golden retrievers. Tom Weldon has a BA in Business Administration and History from Santa Clara University.

Ed Campbell, Associate – Sustainable Cost Reductions

Ed brings extensive experience in analyzing data and trends to provide a workable platform for clients, as they seek improvement in performance results, capital productivity, and organization effectiveness.  Ed runs the Sustainable Cost Reduction Program for WPI.  Prior to becoming part of WPI, Ed has been Controller at Interstate Paper in Savannah, Georgia and part of the leadership team at Iluka Resources Inc. a mining firm based in Jacksonville, Florida.  He spent 15 years with the TTX Company, including serving as Controller for a subsidiary start-up.  Ed Campbell has a BBA from the University of Georgia.
